When is the Spring Soiree?

Our Spring Soiree takes place Thursday, May 19th at Talcott Mountain Collective at 140-C Nod Road, Weatogue, CT 06089 where there is plenty of parking.

What time is the Spring Soiree?

The Spring Soiree is from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.

Can I invite people?

Yes, please do! This event is for everyone! Whether you are a sponsor, sponsor guest, donor, volunteer, agency or business partner, staff, Journey Home fan or a community member who loves Journey Home and wants to ensure we can continue our mission to end homelessness in Connecticut’s Capital region! We invite you to join our fight against homelessness!

How do I purchase tickets?

Purchase tickets by clicking this link. Once your information is entered and your ticket purchase complete, you will receive a confirmation text and email.

Will I receive a physical ticket?

You will NOT receive a physical ticket. Once you complete your online ticket purchase you WILL receive an email confirmation and text. We will have record of your ticket purchase and when you arrive for the Spring Soiree on May 19th, simply give them your name at the welcome table and you are good to go!

What does my ticket include?

Your ticket gives you access to the Spring Soiree where you will have plenty to eat and drink! Included with your ticket price is access to select food trucks, two hours of open bar and plenty of delicious sweets.

How do I buy a key to the lock to win the necklace?

Simply click here to purchase a key (or two or more!) for $50 each, for your chance to win this beautiful necklace. You will receive your key(s) when you check in at the event on May 19th. You will have a chance to try your key to unlock the lock and win the necklace at 9pm at our Spring Soiree on May 19th! When purchasing your key, be sure to purchase tickets to attend our Spring Soiree!

What do I wear?

Dress is casual and wear comfortable shoes. The Spring Soiree will have both outdoor and indoor space.

Will I have fun?

Yes! With plenty to eat and drink you will also have the opportunity to enjoy the grounds, scenery and activities at Talcott Mountain Collective as well as enjoy music and participate in our silent auction!

When will the auction begin and end?

The online auction opens for preview on Friday, May 6th at 9:00 am (EST). Bidding will begin on Sunday, May 15th at 9am. You must create an online account to bid on the items or to donate during the event. After you purchase your ticket to attend the Spring Soiree you will receive a link to create your online bidding account shortly before the auction opens. The online auction will end at 9:00pm (EST) on Thursday, May 19th, 2022.

Will there be a live auction?

This year there will not be a separate live auction during the Spring Soiree as there has been in the past. Instead, we will be highlighting a few select silent auction items that will become live at the start of the event on Thursday, May, 19th. Be sure to log in to the auction to bid that evening so that you have a chance to bid on those three items! The online auction will end at 9:00pm (EST) on Thursday, May 19th, 2022.

How do I complete my auction purchase and/or donation?

You will need to finalize your purchase(s) by clicking the “checkout” button after the auction closes. There you’ll see your total, including all auction items you won and your donation. Once you complete the checkout, you will be emailed a receipt.

How will I receive my auction items?

Auction item descriptions will have instructions for how you will receive your items. If your items are gift certificates only, they will be mailed to you. If your auction items include larger physical items, there will be times for you to do curbside pick-up at the Journey Home warehouse in West Hartford. If you cannot do curbside pick-up, please let us know and we will figure out a solution. There are some items that cannot be shipped outside of our region and those will be noted in the auction description.

How do I make a donation during the event?

When you go online for the program, there will be a “Make a Donation” button under the video. As well as a ”Sponsors & About Us” button to learn more about our wonderful sponsors.

Your financial gift will support Journey Home’s mission of ensuring a home for all by working together to end homelessness in Connecticut’s Capital region. Now more than ever we need your support! While the event may be virtual, the impact that you can make with your gift is real.
